Pitch. It is the word any agency will 'sigh' when they hear. We are in-effect, doing prospective work for free... spending a considerable amount of effort, time and money on each presentation. Most of the time we are successful, but occasionally we aren't. We are AS proud of the projects that didn't make it, as the ones that did - so here is a private showcase! |

A tendering opportunity - we were selected from hundreds of agencies, down to the last 60, down to the last 10 and finally down to the last 2... The pitch was for the Mayor of London's 2012 Legacy Action Plan, part of the Olympics development programme. There was a need to reinforce the message of why the Games are a good thing for London. The document had to be lively, energetic and colourful to capture the imagination of its readers and illustrate the benefits to Londoners. The document centres on the 5 commitments the Mayor is making to Londoners. It focuses on a small number of key projects and achievements for each commitment and illustrates how the Mayor will ensure each commitment is fully met, to communicate progress through real examples and reinforce what the Mayor promises to deliver for Londoners. However, sadly it was close, but no cigar! |
